joe..i await your on line school!..bless you..merle
Merle, Aww-w, shucks, Mizz Merle (looking down at his shoes). You flatter me. Don't be hasty: please compare me to at least a few black-, brown-, or grey-robed teachers, first. But I am, however, officially in the Buddhist hierarchy an "Upasaka". It means, "Layman". ;-) (no, seriously). If you so declare yourself, you have "Upasika" status right now! (I'm an Upasaka; and you're an Upasika: That's Oooh-Pa-SEEKA). I'd better take a cooling-off period before I start my school. I won't start it right away, I mean. There! That's settled. Whew. How about "Mañana"? Now, here in these parts, "Mañana" means in one or two days, or maybe in a week or so, or in a few months, or maybe after the first of the New Year, in one or two years (this is not as bad as it sounds. I have lived in places in South America where even the word "mañana!" was a dirty word). So OK. It's set. Thank you, Cousin! --Joe > Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > joe.. > > i get it..thank you... > > you are a first rate teacher of zen!.. > > can you begin an on line "school" for those of us who are unable to go to the > teacher in person
