difficulties experienced by an American making a TV whiskey advert in Japan. I
lived in Japan for 8 years so I can empathise. I think the same thing is
happening here. There seems to be some misunderstandings that might be language
related (btw, you're doing an amazing job for someone whose native tongue isn't
English). If you have come here to discuss, or find out more about Zen, then I
can assure you that neither Joe, Bill! nor Chris have said anything
controversial or outside the gambit of mainstream Zen. Jut drop any
preconceived ideas you might have of them and go back to 'beginner's mind' and
