Suresh, Thanks for your post. You did communicate without using words, but I'm glad you decided to use them again.
I, and I think many others, were surprised that you took what seemed to be offense to Charles' reference to the 'Kill the Buddha' saying. I thought you'd misunderstood the meaning and Charles' intentions when he wrote that. You know I often advise people to see out teachers, but in the end as I'm sure you know they are only signposts, and some are a lot better than others. In fact some might even lead you astray. In any event and at best case they'll only get you in the general vicinity and you'll have to go the last bit on your own. That's what the saying means to me anyway. I'm also surprised not to see a response from Charles. Maybe he's practicing your no-words communication. I also agree with you that the subject of the post was hi-jacked and soon became unmanageable. But I don't think anyone was trying to restrict your 'freedom of expression', as long as it is focused on the subject matter and not the subject's author. Welcome back, words and all! ...Bill! --- In [email protected], SURESH JAGADEESAN <varamtha@...> wrote: > > Dear My zen friends, > > > > > > > > > I was silent for 24 hours not to react to any mails.
