Well observed.
Someday I will write out the list of simple Zen Buddhist practices that are
common and traditional in the way that Zen Buddhism is practiced authentically
and in orthodox fashion.
Only about 13th part of the practices is Zazen.
Of course, each lineage adds to or subtracts from what is a generalized
orthodoxy. In practice, though, of course there is no "generalized orthodoxy",
just as, in practice, and in reality, there is no generalized "anything": there
are just Particulars. Real-life particulars, just as they are transmitted, not
as they are analyzed academically.
