Merle, I see; just a Full Moon near the time of Lunar Perigee.
If you're near the coast, watch out for "super" high tide! And super Low Tide, 12 hours later. ;-) Good time to go fishin'? Or, beach combing. We'll enjoy a Full Moon here in clear desert skies, rather low in the sky, the lowest full moon of the year, because it's opposite the Sun, which just attained its highest here. For you, the moon will be 'way up! Things are relative, ...Cousin! ;-) Thanks for the link, and for the "think", --Joe > Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > hi joe... 23rd june...is the super moon... i need to make a correction re the > night sky..yes one can see the lights of sydney..and lights below on the > plains..so it is not super dark here,,, i think you maybe referring to a > night when it is totally black and the sky is brilliantly lit by stars > alone..is this the case..any other light from earth would interfere ?...i > suspect you have seen the super moon before?...cheers merle > > > http://www.weekendnotes.com/the-rise-of-the-super-moon/?sb=1&i=1&j=1&k=1&wemid=29970&wuid=276946&ap=TWUnjfj5L3 > ------------------------------------ Current Book Discussion: any Zen book that you recently have read or are reading!
