Merle,<br/><br/>So animals kill because "that is what they're designed to do". 
When they do kill, such as a shark attack, we don't punish them because it is 
in their nature to do so. Humans are also designed to kill. Language was 
developed in large part due to the communication required to hunt effectively. 
BUT humans have learnt to transcend unnecessary killing and even developed laws 
to prevent and punish murder. If a cat kills a mouse, we just shrug and flush 
the corpse down the loo. if a child kills a kitten we scold her and teach her 
that it's wrong. Are you starting to get it
