Merle,<br/><br/>How many times does it need pointing out that it's not being 
denied that humans commit terrible crimes?? The point being made is that it is 
possible for humans to follow a path that allows for 100% compassionate acts 
across the board. This is something other animals simply don't have. They may 
at some evolutionary time in the future, but not now. It's even ok to argue 
that animals don't require such things. But it is undeniable that humans at 
this stage of evolution are unique with this. Dogs wagging their tails waiting
