Dear Sir,
"One should therefore maintain mental equanimity.
One should remember that a life without a purpose and manliness is not
worth living"
=
"Easy is to say (talk without thinking). Difficult is to (refrain the
tongue) follow."
What happens to you Sir? Why take a subject which is not your cup of coffee?
Purpose is not at the end.
It is the beginning. Buddha’s eight fold path is not providing some
distant solution, but it is the purpose of its own.
Right View, Right intention, Right speech, Right action, Right
livelihood, Right effort, Right mindfulness, Right concentration.
All we need to tell others is have right view on life. What is this right view?
Knowledge with reference to suffering, knowledge with reference to the
origination of suffering, knowledge with reference to the cessation of
suffering, knowledge with reference to the way of practice leading to
the cessation of suffering: This is called right view.
If there is Right view on life, then there will be outer discipline,
which in turn result inner discipline which is order and peace.
Today outer discipline is in toss, hence inner discipline is vanished,
so there is disorder everywhere.
Teach right view on life.
