Bill!,<br/><br/>A 'point' in evolution is probably a better choice of word than 
"peak". Never-the-less, regardless of whether the intellect interferes with our 
true nature, or not, my point that we alone are in a position to transcend  the 
instinct to survive (and cause harm to others) still stands. Remember, there
