Hello budha7up,
> I just join this forum.. I too, am new to this group. By way of greeting let me offer you a virtual handshake and a warm smile. :-) > I like to read zen books..but never tried zazen.. > even than i am sure that I know the taste of it.. Have you had time to read the Zen_Instruction.doc and zen.pdf in the Files area <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ZenForum/files>? It will help you get started. If you have questions about practice, people here could help. > These days wars are on my mind.. > Another thing is I am upset about a person .I trusted him , > gave some money to him and he cheated me.I am hurt although > I know I should not..Can somebody give me a sugestion to come > out it .. Others here have already given you very good advice. I would like to offer you a different perspective. By your request, you have arrived at the heart of buddhism--the four noble truths: There is suffering; there is a cause for suffering; suffering can be overcome; and there is a Path for overcoming suffering. I encourage you to dilegently study what you can on the four noble truths and dive deeply into the buddha's teachings on suffering. The great quality of the Buddha was compassion. The path of Buddhism is a path of compassion for all beings. In addition to your studies and zazen, I would also encourage you to develop compassion for those who hurt you. By their grasping, desirous actions, they continue to turn the karmic wheel, assuring their continued rebirth and suffering. Such ignorant action deserves our compassionate understanding. If you can find the source within you from where compassion flows, you will have found much. gassho, david ------------------------ Yahoo!
