What have we learned, or what do we try to learn from Ch'an (Zen), if we fail to understand and accept that each one of us might have different enlightment on the same text? Reading stories of how some wisemen were enlighted and learned are helpful, but still we have to search for the meaning for ourselves by searning our hearts. I appreciate you share info, and will certainly take time to find my own Tao Agnes

Though I believe if you look close you'll see that what it's saying not to be identified with one thing, setting youself up on one side and imagining that you are seperate from everything else.
