On that note, I heard a book-on-tape of the Dali Lama's -- How to Practice.
I'm not sure everything he says finds a home in me -- but I found it useful to
further dispel any "enchantment" with fancy-robed monks. If the Dali Lama
comes across as a regular guy in an irregular situation any tendency for me to
attach mysticism to "Being a Buddhist" is reduced.

... for whatever its worth.

I sort of like Tibetan Buddhism, It is appropriated to practice with
teachings offered in others sects?

You should read, study, and participate in anything that you like and which
can help you. This is not some kind of club where you will be punished if
you read a book from another club. Go and learn something new and maybe you
can help us!
