Hi all I heard that long time ago , in the beginning of human development, people were very confused and when a division appeared among them, for example, some of them wanted to go west and others east or same of them liked chicken and others rabbit, they could not give up and would kill each other until one group were victorious. So obviously that was no life ,one day just before they were to start fighting someone appeared and asked were the bathroom was, so one of the leaders say, the cause of all our problems is him ,clearly he is different to us and so they killed the guy and forgot about their differences, that was the invention of an scape goat,it is still very much in use in the present in all kinds of situations, one example is the group that call themselves "agents of dharma" they make very clear that Zen Buddhism is about how one tie their shoelaces and that one never has to use tight pants, so it is advisable to be careful and don't ask stupid questions.
