Very interesting. I wouldn't mind learning more about
your insights. I'm in particular very curious about
what exactly do you mean when you say: "Denying that
'Self' exists and saying it is an illusion aren't the
same thing."

Do you mean by that 'if something does not exist it
cannot be an illusion'? Or, 'if something is an
illusion, its existence cannot be denied'?

In addition, I'd like to comment on your statement:

"The 'Self', in my understanding of Buddhism, is an
Illusion produced by Mind, based on sensory inputs."

This is the Nikaya, or Hinayana interpretation of the
Buddha's teaching. The Perfection of Wisdom, or
Mahayana interpretation claims that even basic sensory
inputs are devoid of self as well, that is, they are
equally unreal.
