The fudd thing was a joke.

I see you did nothing with the serious suggestion. You'd rather start trouble,
it seems -- then play innocent. You behave audaciously, then understimate the
hunter's audacity... A war of egos.

A flag. lol, what a joke.

Let us know how many people arrive at your new "zendo"... and keep us posted on
bloody carcasses too :)

Subject: Re: [Zen] Truce Flag

What if my home becomes a future zendo...
What if nobody ever heard of the Dharma, how else will they find out
except from someone willing to share...
I am not marketing Zen, I am simply hanging up a flag for both my own
awareness, and to bring about awareness around me. I do think the
hunters will discuss the flag, I think they will think about what
they are doing both to the animals and to other human beings.

I may hang it up next to the american flag showing gratitude that I
am able to practice Buddhism in our towne. They know I am not a
haloed angel or else I wouldn't have got into trouble in the first
place. The elmer fudd idea is cute, but that would make them more
upset than the Buddhist flag.

I will consider the suggestion, if you come up with a better one
please pass it on.

> As a seroius suggestion. Why don't you host a past-time on days
that are typical hunting days. Make it the best damn "bowling
saturday" that town's ever seen (and don't dare utter a word of your
hangup with animal eatin'). Then, if you need the self-back-patting
(like i would) imagine all the animals that weren't killed for each
would-be-hunter that shows up and drinks your beer?
