Hi Kaoabcd, Rod and all, I must admit I am guilty of jumping right into the "implication arguer" category, as Rod notices :) So I'd like to back up and respond to Kaoabcd's original question. Which by the title of the post, I take to be, "why choose Zen?" Perhaps it is a matter of faith. Reading about Zen is very interesting and sounds promising, and then when you meet some folks who have really practiced it, you can see it working in them, and you sense it can do good things for you too. So you develop faith in the practice. That's my experience.
It's also my experience that the impressions gained from an online Zen list, are not terribly faith-inspiring. :) Ian >Hi Kaoabcd, > >You seem to have mistaken this list for a "Zen" community -- one in >which you will find Zen practitioners to ask questions.
