Here in this city, like in most major cities, there is a very agressive and well-funded Civil Liberties Union which not only filed a class action suit to prohibit bums from being arrested or harassed in any way, but they also got a few million dollars to build a Homeless Facility in addition to the building run by the Catholics and some other Churches. They also had a law passed prohibiting Churches (or anyone) from setting up any volunteer food service for homeless people because the Christians would feed the bums and then try to give them Bibles, which the ACLU felt was violating the rights of the bums. So feeding bums is against the law in this County (they made the law apply to "anyone" feeding the bums so it would not seem like it was the Christian groups that were being singled out) unless they are fed inside an approved building (for real--that is how F*ed up the people in this town are). ------------------------ Yahoo!
