Dear Moderator,
I believe that the anonymity and distance provided by the
internet estimulate the agressive behavior displayed by some people.
It is very easy to attack verbally people if they are not physically
present and if they can not locate you. And it is very easy to behave
agressively if you can hide behind a nickname and webmail account.
Thus, in my opinion, every member of this list should be obliged
to present basic information about himself or herself, like his/her
complete name, age, location, occupation and the Zen Center in which
he or she participates.
This information should be available to every member of the list.
This way, I believe, people will think twice before attacking
verbally and personally another member of the list. I also think that
we should promote meetings for the members of the list, so that we
can get to know each other personally.
