From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I am becoming increasingly concerned at the
attitude of the moderator with regards to this group. at least they do not
display the sycophancy which destroys any sense of truth which is exhibited on
some other forums. If we are wrong, and we see that we are wrong from replies to
our postings then that can surely only benefit us in our personal
development.>>
I am not sure I understand. I do not see
any flattery going on in this list. I would like people on this list to be
civil to everyone else on this list. If you find that you have to take a shot
at someone else in every post, then you should do it somewhere else.
I also do not see why asking people
to discuss Zen in a literate manner is a bad thing. My "attitude" is that I
would like to see literate postings. I would like people on this Zen
list to read up on Zen when they participate. There is only one Zen Sensei on
this list that I am aware of. Everyone else has learned Zen mostly from Zen
books. So any meaningful discussion should include those books. Otherwise, it is
merely subjective nonsense.
I have a lot of respect for the feelings that anyone
might have about any topic, but this list is not for people to share their
"feelings." This is the Zen Forum.
