Thank you for hitting the nail on the head. I have gotten many hate-filled
e-mails from some of the folks that REFUSE to read any Zen books. I cannot
understand why anyone that adamantly refuses to read anything Zen or
Buddhist would be on a Zen Forum.
I am probably the least scholarly of anyone on this list. I just happen to
think that a list needs balance. Mindless emoting of subjective opinions
followed by intense discussions that erode into personal flame attacks
cannot be the right path.
Besides that, if you are humble enough to look at the words of a wiser
person (or persons) when you are posting to the list, it cannot hurt you or
the list.
