When you do the Dharma teachings are in context and appropriate. Bhikkhu Samahita doesn't read this forum. He doesn't enter into a dialog. He doesn't want to. He uses this (and every other Buddhist/Zen forum I've every seen) solely to flood the site with his fundamentalist Buddhist propaganda, benign though it may be. His communication is one-way only. I have emailed him and had some real two-way communication with him. I can tell you he is not at all supportive or even tolerant of Zen. He considers it a 'corrupt' form of Buddhism.
I don't think anyone here is advocating 'burning books'. I'm certainly not. If he sent maybe one a week I might even read them - and it would be nice if they were in context to a discussion thread and he actually wanted to enter into a discussion about them - but, he's not about to do that. That's not part of his agenda. ...Bill! ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
