Aside from the BuildRequires problem, was the x86_64 compile of zenoss fairly painless? Did you take our source rpm and build a binary from it, or did you install from source? I assume it's the former since you noticed the BuildRequires issue...
Actually, I couldn't find your source RPM - Sourceforge doesn't have it from what I could see, so I used the spec files found within the tarball.
Other than the missing requires, I was able to pull down everything I needed from RPMForge to get RHEL4 up to spec to compile without issue - in fact, I didn't even think to check your "deps" tarball until part way through, and found that I had installed everything in there anyway. Three false-starts, each for a missing require (and a missing MySQL-devel-standard), and the fourth build ran without incident, and started without issue.
