John,

On your Linux boxes, the OS tab is completely empty? It sounds like an
SNMP issue. Use 'snmpwalk' to see if you can access any of the data
such as disk space, etc. If not, you will need need to tweak your
snmpd.conf.

Subject: [zenoss-users] SMNP Question

I've set up a block of 10 mixed Linux and Windows servers to be
monitored via SNMP by Zenoss. They are both working well, apart from the
initial data that populates the OS, Software tabs under the Devices
section. Windows servers are fine, both of the tabs are populated, but
on my Linux servers, neither of these tabs are populated...

Is this a problem with Zenoss, or is this to do wth snmpd.conf on the
individual Linuzx boxes?

Thanks in advance.

John
