Dennis set zIfDescription to true for the part of the device tree
where you want to see them.

You do get the description. It works great (for both our cisco and
nortel devices), but it only shows if I'm looking at the graphs for
that interface. I can't see the description when I'm looking at
the OS tab for the device.
