Rob,

In 1.1 you can execute commands based on events. With this you should be able to run a command line program (maybe your nagios command) to send the SMS message. Check out the admin guide for details on event based commands and using templates to define a command.

Hi,

We are based in the UK, and are in the process of migrating over to Zenoss. We are looking to intergrate SMS notifications, however, UK SMS does not support SNPP. We could use an email -> SMS gateway, however, this is unreliable. We currently use a custom nagios plugin that sends the SMS notifications, is there any way to intergrate this with zenoss, or have zenoss perform a command as part of a notification? such as perl /home/sendsms.pl ARGV1 ARGV2 etc?

Thanks
