You'll have to copy the Ethernet PerfConf over to your PPP PerfConf. Interesting that, despite ZenOSS being able to tell what kind of serial connection it's dealing with, it doesn't have built in PerfConf templates for at least the most common links.
I have 2 cards in my 2811, one configured for propPointToPointSerial and the other for PPP. Copying over the Ethernet PerfConf worked for both.
