The GUI is undergoing a huge transformation right now. There were several functions missing from my Zenoss today and I sit 20' from the guy making the changes.

It's not very stable right now, but it sure does look good. If you need stability, please use version 1.1.1 or the 1.1.x branch.

I keep seeing stuff about using tabs like 'edit' that I do not seem to have

3.11 Editing a Device
If you wish to edit a device, first locate the device either by using the "Browse By" menu or by searching for the device in the search box at the top of the application. The device can then be edited by selecting the "Edit" tab of the device and filling in the appropriate information.

I do not have an edit tab

I used the source build using svn as per the instructions for 1.1.1

Was that a mistake?

If you're using SVN, you're running the development trunk which at
times can be totally different than the last documentation. To find
"Edit" in trunk you need to click the last tab with the down arrow,
choose Edit/Edit. If you don't have these options, run "zenmigrate
run" as the zenoss user.
