Is it possible to monitor Linux processes via ZenOSS so that if the process goes goes down, an alert will be shown on the dashboard? Based on the documentation, it appears that it can but I am not having any success.
What I've done: - Add the Linux device to ZenOSS and execute zenmodeler to pick it up. - Add the Linux process I want monitored in "Processes" - In my case, I am wanting to perform a simple "fetchmail -d" check. - Re-run zenmodeler against the device again to pick up the addition of the new process. The above steps work and ZenOSS is able to see "fetchmail -d" running on the monitored box with an "up/Green" status. However, when I kill the process and wait for zenperfsnmp to check the device again, it never shows down or red? Am I missing something? Do I need add a specific Event check or change something in the snmpd.conf file?
