I monitor many RHEL 3 boxes here without a problem.  Perhaps it isn't being
exposed correctly in snmpd.conf?  Your /etc/snmpd.conf file should look
something like this:

RH, but it's by no means the latest version of net-snmp, which 5.4.1.

I haven't figured out the snmp version requirements yet, it seems
different based on the device. I have a Suse server that was running 5.1.xand 
had several missing data that upgrading to
5.4.1 fixed. However, I have a Fedora server running 5.1.x with no missing
data.

The ssCpuRawWait data is the only issue I have on the RHEL3 box.
