Strange... I logged out of the console, then logged back into it with the default admin password 'zenoss' and now all the Management functions have returned.
Seems I can log in to the admin account with either the default password (which has admin functions) or the new password (which doesn't). There may be something about Zenoss users I'm not understanding, so I'll start working through the Admin documentation. If however this is in fact something bizarre and somebody has an answer or suggestion, I'd appreciate hearing it.
