i just started with zenoss too, and here is the best way ive found to do that so far....
i created a group within the groups link called personnel. then, i put people's names as subgroups. then, i assigned the appropriate devices to the right peoples group in the edit tab of each device. next, copy the URL for each person's group and give it to them as a link. when they input that link into the browser, they will put in their username and password as always and then it takes them directly to their subgroup of devices upon successful login. this doesn't filter what devices they can see security-wise, but it shows just their stuff on the opening page. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=5469#5469 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
