I have created a performance template that graphs used memory for some of the servers we have. Right now, I have not set up any thresholds on it...I just wanted to make the graph. I wanted to apply it to the /Devices/Servers class that I made so it creates graphs for all of our servers without configuring it on each one. I have everything set up on it using SNMP and the data points and graphs are set up. This same performance template works fine created on a device. Here is my problem....it does not seem to be applied to any devices under the /Devices/Servers class. When i browse down through the device classes below it lists 2 performance templates: Devices with the path of definition of /Devices (which is the default one that was already there) and hrRam with the definition path of /Devices/Servers. When I go to a device, for example, /Devices/Servers/Microsoft/Windows Server 2003/Backup here is what it lists under the PerfConf tab:
RRDTemplate @ /Devices and it has a button that says Local Copy which can be pressed to make the performance template only locally significant, but right now it should be inheriting the performance template I made under /Devices/Servers. There are no graphs created in the Perf tab. Any ideas? It's probably just a dumb mistake that I must be missing. I am needing to present a demo of Zenoss to our networking department in a day and a half so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=5605#5605 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
