Are you by chance monitoring Dell of HP servers? For Dell servers, you will need to install the OpenManage software. For HP servers, install the Insight Software. These two packages provide the additional MIB's that you need to populate the missing information.

I'm kinda new to this forum. I've just run Zen on a VMware image and wanting to install one on an independent machine. Just a few questions, on the admin manual it stated that if I want to monitor Windows processor load, memory and free disk I will need to install snmp-informant. So I did. But I found out on the UI that the graphs and filesystem free disk usage still isn't working. Do I have to install the mib from snmp-informant to zenoss for it to work? Can someone tell me how MIB works and how it affects Zen? I found the admin page kinda incomplete especially for NMS newbies like me. Are there other docs on how to configure Zen. I also wanted to monitor Cisco routers but it seems that it can't get the bandwidth of the interfaces this is also the same as the Windows servers. I really like to make this work and I'm hoping someone out there can help me out. Thanks. ------------------------ Don Eugene Paul M.
