Hello, Well it was my mistake. I got the same output as your self. However, I cannot see anything listening on port 3306. I have a firewall enabled on the server. However, I have already opened the port 3306 in the firewall. /etc/hosts contains the entry localhost.localdomain. Can't understand what could be the problem.
