I have some devices in source Zenoss system. I am using snmp and portscan for devices and non-standard community names for snmp. I have exported devices to xml. When importing to target system I was not able to import any device. The error message is "no snmp found for ...". I thing that reason is that standard "public" community name is used and snmp discovery protocol is always used although some of devices do not support it. Can I change this behaviour?
Zdenek, The best thing to do is to go to the zProperties tab for /Devices and add all of your SNMP community strings to the zSnmpCommunities property. This way Zenoss will try them all in order if you don't specify one while adding the device. -- Chet Luther [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
