I have a device that I'm trying to monitor that keeps using the "Device" perf conf template even when I have defined my own template in its parent Device Tree Object. It is not using a local copy of the performance collection information.
The Zenoss Administration Gude says that templates are inherited the same way as zProperties, and that the "Closest" template will be used to monitor a device, but it doesn't seem to be doing this.
