We are getting warnings about our switches that utilization is high. Upon investigation Zenoss is reporting the port speed as -294967296. The port speed should be 4 gigabit. The warning looks like this:
Code: hp5308 Utilization 75 perc threshold of -27653184.0 exceeded: current value 2871377.26 I grabbed the OID via snmpget and here is the reported value: IF-MIB::ifSpeed.210 = Gauge32: 4000000000 It looks to me as we are getting numeric overflow. Is this a known bug? Are there any workarounds?
