I have put off Windows monitoring behind some other tasks, and am intending to
use native WMI if the tools work right (which I haven't seen anyone report
SUCCESSFULLY using them on this list yet ;). If you're wanting to monitor
using SNMP, I don't see any reason not to copy the windows templates to a new
name, and modify the OID's they specify for the Informant MIB, and pull the
standardized OID's present in Windows (from the Cacti templates).

Would be nice to be able to do this without Informant, as several of my
Windows machines just refuse to use Informant, and as such I cannot now
get that info in Zenoss. And of course, the support for the free
Informant is non-existent.
