Good morning

Past friday I downloaded a Zenoss Virtual Machine, and start to play with it
... I finished with two Windows 2003 server sending snmp information to Zenoss,
an amazing product.

However, today I found the server completely closed to external connections. I
though maybe could had been my limited machine resources, so I moved the
Virtual Machine to a bigger one with a lot of RAM ... but nothing, the 8080
port is completely lost. Even can't be seen witnin Zenoss conole using
"netstat -a" .

The only important change I made to the appliance was to quit the DHCP and to
put a static address (we don't have here a DHCP, so this never would work this
way).

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO='static'
IPADDR='myaddresshere'
NETMASK='255.255.255.0'
ONBOOT=yes
TYPE=Ethernet

And, I don't have any idea how was this virtual machine configured inside.
Could it be using SELinux or something like that?

Would be easier for me just to uncompress a fresh Zenoss Appliance copy, but I
can't trust on a product would close itself in any moment, so I need to know
why this happened.

Any comment to find the failure reason would be welcomed.

Thank You.
