After the first install I migrated the MySQL-Database used by zenoss sucessfull to a remote server. I did this as documented in the manual and it worked out nice.
After the migration I removed the mysql-binaries from the server running zenoss. Now when I want to update zenoss the install-script complains about the missing MySQL-Development environment. As far as I understand the install-routines there is no way to bypass the check for the mysql-develoment environment. :-< Does anybody have an advice how to easily install/update zenoss with the MySQL-Server being deployed on a remote-host?
