I'm assuming that the traffic you are initially receiving is the modeling of the device when you first add it. I also assume it would need to be modeled before the remote performance monitor picked it up. I'm wondering if the device should be added via the remote monitor. Since it has the hub and mysql connections back to the central it may work. Just a guess.
