I just installed v2.0.4 on Kubuntu Feisty Fawn 7. Finally found (in the forums) how to monitor Cisco interfaces and it works well!
I have two questions: 1) Is there a way to have the Interface Desc (Description) be included in the email alert? We have several routers w/ many interfaces and it would be helpful to have techs alerted of the description field so they can be pro-active. 2) We also monitor a DSLAM that will get the interface name but no description as in Ciscos when 'walked' (visible in the OS tab). I was wondering if I could manually edit the interface name? (We use WhatsUp currently and have to do the same). I use the WUI primarily. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!
