I have a DSLAM that provides very little info when walking it. Even when we use WhatsUp (which I want to migrate to Zenoss), it has the same issues. The interface descriptions never show up, and instead of the actual port number it gives some other vague number. In WhatsUp, we simply manually overrid the given port number with a name (in other words, renamed the interface). Is this possible with Zenoss?
I have verified the MIBs are correct, just think that the DSLAM is older with very little SNMP abilities. I look forward to any help!
