I have installed and run Zenoss on a Windows 2003 Server. Now I want to control it remotely.
I logged in via Windows Remote Desktop Connection with a normal user account (not admin) but with enough admin right to start zenoss. When I leave the server, I had to Disconnect the session instead of Logout as logging out would shutdown VMPlayer/Zenoss. Also, I want another user to be able to log in and work on Zenoss as well but with his proper account. The problem is when I disconnect my session, another user wouldn't be able to stop or start Zenoss when he RDPs in because "it's being used" by my account. Question: Can Zenoss be run as a service so that any account with admin right can log in to the Windows Server to start or stop Zenoss? Or, is this question more applicable to VMPlayer? I am not sure but can someone help please? Thank you in advance for your help. ------------------------ exo wa -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11081#11081 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
