As I use ESX Server, I have the command vmkfstools. This command (in the zenoss dir):
vmkfstools -X 8g Zenoss.vmdk resizes the disk to 8 gigabytes. So far so good. The next step is not as easy. How am I supposed to resize a mounted file system? I tried booting with GParted boot cd, but that one doesn't detect any disks at all... resize2fs /dev/root /dev/root is mounted; can't resize a mounted filesystem! zenbackup doesn't work either: (as user zenoss): zenbackup mysqldump: Got error: 1045: Access denied for user 'zenoss'@'localhost' (using password: NO) when trying to connect. /Salmoneus ------------------------ Per Hultgren -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11398#11398 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
