It seems that not everything is replaced when upgrading from one release to
another.

I noticed this on one upgrade where the previous install used a symlink to
/usr/local/zenoss and then removed the symlink when I upgraded. I started
getting errors in a few places, looking for that old symlink, which i thought
would have been removed during the upgrade.

Should/Could I remove some the previous install like the binarys and Products,
etc?
Anyone have a good list of what should be removed and what shouldn't for an
upgrade?

Also, it appears that the upgrade always fails a MySQL operation with an Error
connecting [EMAIL PROTECTED] (using password: no). What is causing this, and
where can i enter the password that it should be using (passwordless root
accoount in mysql is not an option).

thanks.
