Thank you, Daniel. The DHCP part with the likely different IP address---i do understand and it makes sense.
But the computer or workstation name!? That's the part where I'm a bit puzzled. If it generates a different computer name and a different IP address based on DHCP handout, then I assume that the name would be something other than our existing PC names. At time of this post, I have not located and turned on that PC in question yet. But my guess is...i would get an error message that says 'Duplicate name' or something to that effect.
