Hey all, apologies (again) if this has come into discussion before
but I
find no documentation nor correspondence about this. Zenoss is running
fine (thanks to developers who put their time into this project by the
way). My monitoring set up is something similar to this:
<snipped>
I wanted to add a user customerAname and give customerAname rights to
see solely his information. I created the user giving him the role of
zenMonitor, Dashboard organizer "groups", admin level 5, "Administered
Objects" devices in his group.
How do I minimize the ability for him to browse around and see solely
his devices? Again, sorry if this is a repeat question to some, I
could
not find information on Google (zenoss +role +delegation +view).
User ACLs in the web interface is something that will be in Zenoss
Enterprise 2.1. The limit of user access control in Zenoss core is to
define as user as either a ZenUser (read-only access to everything)
or Manager (read-write access to everything.)
