I'm having a lot of trouble with Net-SNMP on my linux systems. Very often, early in Zenoss' discovery walks of a new device, snmpd will hang and the discovery will get bad results. Then after restarting the snmpd the agent will run OK for a few days and then hang again.
This is happening across a range of systems, from RedHat 8 to CentOS 5. I don't have a complete taxonomy of failures yet, though....
