Hi,

I Have tried the upgrade last night and it failed (also from source)
Normally what you should do is:

Shutdown the zenoss daemons
Extract the tar.gz as zenoss user
And start the ./install.sh

He will ask you to upgrade with the existing database.
But when I strart zenoss after the upgrade I get a lot of erros for
zenprerfsnmp
